This beautiful park is located approximately five miles southeast of Muncie, south of the White River. The reservoir and park area is made up of approximately 1275 acres of water and 750 land acres of recreational bliss.

It is said that John Dillinger, the infamous bank robber passed through Muncie in July of 1933. He did not rob any banks here because he was afraid of a train hindering his getaway plan.
