  • Office Manager - Police Chief Secretary

    Incumbent serves as an office manager/confidential secretary to the Chief of Police, Deputy Chief of Police, and the command staff.

    Successful candidate will possess the ability to maintain accurate files and records. Ability to use standard office equipment and operate standard office software such as excel, word, etc. Possess knowledge of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and the ability to type with speed and accuracy. Have a working knowledge of of the duties and responsibilities of the Chief of Police, Deputy Chief and Command Staff as well as the standard procedures and routines of the Muncie Police Department.

    The position is a full time position with benefits. Maximum hourly rate of pay is $15.12 per hour.

    Position will be posted from Friday, April 27, 2018 through end of business (4PM) on Friday, May 4, 2018. No applications received or post marked after May 4, 2018 will be considered.
